The Advanced Password Policy is a security policy that can be configured by the administrator for customers and their sub-customers.
When enabled, all users belonging to the selected customer automatically inherit the rules defined by the policy.
The purpose of this policy is to enforce stronger passwords and improve the overall security of user credentials.
Password Requirements
When the Advanced Password Policy is enabled, the following requirements apply:
- Minimum length of 15 characters.
- At least one uppercase letter.
- At least one lowercase letter.
- At least one numeric character.
- At least one special character.
Password Management
The policy also includes the following security rules:
- Password expiration every 90 days.
- Previously used passwords cannot be reused.
- Temporary account lock after five consecutive failed login attempts.
